Zac Posen

Watching his Spring 2011 RTW collection hit the runway I just couldn't handle some of the pieces. Beyond obsession could only be described. How he is managing the Zac Posen line and his new Z Spoke that has just gotten launched is beyond me. Is he trying to be the new Marc Jacobs with the second line? Normally I would dismiss the idea right away with saying nobody could replace my marc, but this may be a close second. Overly obsessed with these pants. Instead of attempting to mix patterns and prints like other designers are doing he knows to mix with black.

His runway collections have a way of pushing the envelope but not being too extravagant that you could not picture anyone wearing them. Something that is typically lacking, especially in the Paris shows. Currently have nostalgia for not being able to take his Spring internship......
