Currently Judging

I feel as though certain aspects of fashion have been taken over. Maybe it is the ever lasting economic downturn or our celebrities that we have been idolizing but the risks in fashion are becoming fewer. Gone are the days I become excited over the Who Wore It Best column in US Weekly. Our media has become so harsh that ever aspect of a celebrity gets thought over by countless stylists. Thus the general public has less of the desire to dress up an outfit with over the top heels or a bohemian headband. Classics are great yes, but does society need to be never willing to take a risk?

Stefani Germanotta, more commonly known as Lady Gaga, has been pushing the limits of fashion to extremes. Others may not like her strictly over impulse. Is it really necessary to put meat on a dress to prove a point about animal cruelty? I wish there was something in the middle of this eccentricity and the normal all black city attire.
