Maxing it out

Thinking about how many people can really pull off a maxi dress? They look so so cute but off the top of my head I truly only know two people that could successfully pull them off. To those two people: wear it as much as you can...but to the rest of us don't even try. Why are stores trying to tantalize us with these supercute dresses? Considered this one from nastygal but I would have to pull it off with superhigh wedges.....and of course a floppy hat. The Jeffrey Campbells in this picture are asking too much from the outfit in my opinion.

Of course SJP whose my height can pull it off but that's as expected from a fashion god obvs.
